I have been a Cowboys fan since I was little. I am one of the very few Cowboys fans left in the area that I live in because all of the Cowboys fans have either started liking other teams or just stopped caring about football altogether. I remember the when it was Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, and Daryl Johnston leading the Cowboys to 3 Super Bowl wins in a 4 year span. Yeah, those were the good times, that was when it felt good to be a Cowboys fan. Lately, and all through High School, it hasn't been as fun. Every day in High School, I was hounded when they lost, which was more often than not, and just ignored when they won. My fellow students, my family, even my P.E. coach hounded my day in and day out. It was all in good fun, but there were times that it was very depressing. I miss that feeling from when the Cowboys were winning, I want that feeling again, and I will have it because the Cowboys will be sucessful again someday. I guarantee it, and I can say that I stuck through the bad times when that day comes. They have already started back on the right track, they went 10-6 and made it to the playoffs last year. They lost in the first round, but hopefully this year, they will go even further. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
