A tormented young high school girl who's psycho jesus freak mom won't let her do anything is always being made fun of and harrased at school. But what her classmates don't know is that Carrie has telekenetic powers and she is getting ready to snap. I went to blockbuster a couple days ago and was planning on renting a couple horror classics to watch with my fellow horror fiends. Well, the selection was limited and lots of things were out. so when i saw this sitting in the corner i picked it up along with the Omen. I had heard alot about it and it was a stephen king novel so why not. the movie ended up being one of the most powerful and utterly mindblowing horror film i have seen since the Exorcist. Its wonderful characters and classy style blew me away. "Sissy Spacek" who played Carrie had me looking twice because she played her part so damn well. Not to mention her crazy mother wonderfully played by "Piper Laurie" The woman is crazy. "Carries" over the top shock, wonderful cast and one of the greatest endings in horror movie history help it to be a great horror classic in my eyes, not to mention a riviting story.                        "Sin never dies"!                  -Carries crazy ass mother Gore: we get some pigs blood that is poured on carrie in its shocking ending along with a crazy crucifixion on Carries psycho mom.oh yeah and Carrie on the rag! Nudity: boys night out! full frontal nudity in the girls locker room. Carrie in the shower and the bath Pace: a short movie so pace is not a problem here Scary: not terrifying but we do get a few chilling scenes with Carrie wigging out. Story: A stephen king novel wonderfully transfered onto the big screen Overall a classic to say the least, with a wonderful cast and Sissy spaceks boobies you just cant go wrong. Go pick up Carrie, You sinner!
