This website is dedicated to the sheer joy of natural light photography. The photographer is an amateur who got a late start, but maintains enthusiasm for the art form. I concentrate on flowers, gardens and landscapes. I prefer ordinary print film and scan the photographs for maximum enjoyment on a personal computer.

Many of the photographs were taken with a simple point and shoot Olympus SuperZoom 3000 camera, but those taken after 1999 were made with a Canon Rebel 2000 using a 28-80 Zoom lens or 75-300 Zoom, with only a UV or Polarizing Filter.

Many of the images were obtained from my own backyard. My wife is an avid gardener and over the years has grown a variety of plants and flowers in a small urban backyard jungle. Others were taken while travelling on family vacations where I am often inspired by majestic scenery.

You may download and use the photographs freely for personal use and enjoyment, but must obtain permission from the photographer before any commercial use.
