A selection of Military buttons we have found.

Military Buttons turn up everywhere from farmland to beaches
One field we were on last year had nothing but buttons.
When you first get a hit you think great a Army button but after twenty or so you start to wonder if its not time to move fields
if you can identify any of them please feel free

Corps of Commission, with the Motto: "VIRTUTE ET INDUSTRIA" - England.
Corps of Commisiariats or Commissioners was an employment agency for respectible ex-servicemen, in positions as doorman, chaufer, hotel receptionist, elevator attendant, etc.

Royal Scots Guards, Victorian.

The Buckingham Rifle Volunteers had existed until 1908, then became part of the main regiment as the Buckinghamshire Battalion

The group of four are: Top left - a livery button, top right - another Scots Guards. Bottpm left - Royal Army Pay Corps, bottom right and Governmental livery or a general issue button for a non military uniform maybe Staff to Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.
