Welcome to Your Finds Page 1.

Can we please try to help Eric

I found this in the dirt of my basement floor 17 years ago. I live in a small
town east of Buffalo, NY. My house dates back to the first deed of 1809.

Its made of silver. I was told by a coin dealer it was a Greek fisherman's
tool used to open shellfish. It would have hung around his neck on a chain.
The mark looks like Sagittarius, but I'm not certain. With all the neat
things you have found, maybe you would have a clue what this find is.
Your site is great keep up the finding of great finds.
If you have an idea, please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Eric

Greek fisherman's tool used to open shellfish

I got a couple of things you can put on the page.
The first is an old pocket watch found near an old
school in Raceland, LA . Looks like there used to be
a house there and it burned down. Alot of scorched
material at the site.
The second is an old beer token I found near the
inlaws house in Thibodaux, LA on Christmas Day.
