*Final Update* August 21, 2009
This site will disappear from the web on October 26, 2009 along with Geocities. However, a new site will take its place on a new host. If you look forward to the new site or updates, then I highly suggest heading over to the new address A.S.A.P. Even though the site is not up for you to see yet, I wanted to post the link as soon as I could so that people could start heading over and bookmarking the site. I will keep you updated on the site's progress over at the new location. This will be the final update on the Geocities site.
Once the new site is completed, you will see new information. I'm working on expanding things, including the Palletshipping section, so look forward to a new look and new content.

8.17.09 ... Geocities will close on October 26, 2009. I am currently working on saving everything I had here to be hosted at a new location. Look for a link to the new location in the next couple of weeks. I wouldn't link so early when there would be almost nothing there, but I'd like to give anyone who wants to get to the new site a chance to find it. Once I have the site up, the splash page will contain updates on my progress of the site. Keep watching. My goal is to have the new site set up for updates by the end of the week. If not, next week. Meanwhile, if you have any suggestions, the guestbook is always open.
5.3.09 ... So that new love didn't last very long. Anyway. Geocities is closing down, and I know it's been three years since I updated, but I want to get the site off of here. I'll take it over to a different host. Clean things up a bit; it should look nice. I'll be doing this soon. Give me some time to get that done. I don't know if anyone visits this site anymore, but it was my first site, and not many shrines exist to Shigeru anymore. I'd like to keep it up for sentimental purposes.
9.8.06 ... I'm doing a lot of work behind the scenes. I have a layout made, and I'm working on content. Mostly site stuff at the moment and getting that done. After that, I'll work on information. Just thought you might want some information: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon airs tonight on Cartoon Network at 8:00 pm eastern. Following that will be the premiere of Pokemon Battle Frontier (or so Yahoo! says). Also, tomorrow night, "Putting the Air Back in Aerodactyl" (Gary's episode) from Pokemon Chronicles will air. I believe it was on last week as well, but I wasn't around to see it. Actually, I still haven't seen it yet, so I'll probably be watching.
9.5.06 ... For some reason, I've found a new love for Pokemon. I don't know how or why, but I have. Hmm. Who knows why, actually. I also noticed that I still get visitors. I want to revamp the site. I also want to finish that fanfiction. I really just have to edit some. Then I have to write basically the second half. Not too bad. I want to edit all the grammar mistakes that I've noticed exist on the site. I'm going to be an English major...I better write like one, right?
So, look for some form of update in a few days. We'll see what happens. I plan on adding some new things and rewriting information. I want this site to actually be as good as it can be. It was my first site that I ever had running smoothly, and I want to keep it going strong. If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to sign the guestbook inside.
3.24.06 ... Well, it's been a very long time since I've updated anything here. This site is way past it's time to go static. It's been a great three and a half years. My farewell note is on the splash page for those who would like to read it. I may make an update or two here and there, but I will not add much else to the site. Pokemon is no longer an interest of mine, and the fanfic is only aging. I may post it someday at Fanfiction.net. However, I post a lot of "Drake & Josh" fanfiction, and that may take priority because that's currently my fanfiction interest. For now, goodbye.
9.24.05 ... I added 7 more images to the gallery. I know those thumbnails don't look too nice. My new image editor saves jpgs pretty bad, but saves perfect gif files without messing up the colors. So, you take the good with the bad. Basically, the site is pretty static. I wish it weren't. There's just nothing I can think of until I take care of the fanfic. Please, sign the guestbook and leave me ideas. I'll surf around and see if I get some. I have a couple. I'd really like to get a gallery going again for Pokemon at my ninetales Topcities account. There's plenty of space for a huge gallery. The problem is I'm trying to get my Sailor Moon gallery moving and an Inu Yasha gallery. Pokemon just has way too many characters. I'd really like my own domain. I'll hopefully get one soon, then I can get off of Geocities. It's not so bad, but the ads drive me nuts right now. With my own domain there would be no ads or popups. If I do get a domain soon I plan on completely revamping this site, taking down broken links, redoing the thumbnails in the gallery, setting up a brand new layout, things like that. I just don't have many layout options at Geocities, and while I could easily put this site on Topcities, there's just a lot of space there. So, keep checking back and you'll see a few new things here, and maybe a move in a few months.
8.14.05 ... So, yeah. I'm around. I had a full time job this past summer and I lived away from home so I had no time to update. That doesn't excuse the dead time between January and June though. I haven't finished the fanfiction yet, but I have started updating it so you may read it. That will probably make me want to work on it more often. So, read the next chapter and let me know what you think.
1.8.05 ... No, I do not have the fanfiction finished. I'm in a deep rut with it and don't know how to deal with a situation I created. I have been working on two Clay Aiken fanfics for the site I'm trying to create. See, originally I had a layout and everything up and was adding content, but I couldn't always add then school started and I wasn't able to update anymore and my account deleted. So, I created a new account and layout and new idea. So, I will be working on that. Perhaps I will look at the Shigeru fanfic and see what I can do. I know how I want the story to end, but I keep hitting roadblocks.
11.6.04 ... Yes, Midie is slow. I'm looking at the fanfic tonight. I don't know how far I'll get, but I'll look at it. I have found something on a ShiShi shrine that explains a lot. Apparently, Gary will no longer appear on Pokemon, like ever. The reason? The site states that Shigeru's voice actor in Japan quit and they dropped his character. So, no more Gary. I'm not sure if his character is totally gone, or whether or not the voice actor will be replaced. I will look into the situation though. Let's see if Google will help me out. Oh, and if any of you have information on it let me know in the guestbook okay?
10.22.04 ... Sorry, not much time to work on the fanfiction with school. I may get to work on it this weekend, but I have college stuff to take care of. So, I have no idea when I will get to work on it. I am a little tonight, but not sure about the rest of the weekend.
8.24.04 ... Uh-huh. I haven't finished the fanfiction yet. I am at a block in the road and will skip ahead in it, so a few months will pass in between chapters. I've spent long enough on it. I have other fanfiction projects to work on. There will be a sequel to this one, but as far as the sequel goes I want to finish another fanfiction that is not Shigeru related first. After that I will put up a sequel. So when you read it keep that in mind to look for it later. Thats all for now. I'll try to work on it, but writing it is difficult right now. I have no clue where to take the story unless I jump ahead a few months. So, thats what I'm going to do.
8.9.04 ... Ok, I put color on the fanfiction pages. It looks nicer to read now than just black and white. I plan to work on it tonight. I don't know when it will be finished.
8.8.04 ... Just so you know, I'm not dead. I haven't worked on the fanfiction as much as I've wanted to. I hope I can finish it before school begins. I start August 30th. I'm not sure, but hopefully I can get it done. I don't exactly watch Pokemon anymore. Gary isn't on there anymore, its been around for a while. I kind of grew out of it. However, like I said, I will still keep the site up. I hope I can get up what I would like this summer. The Clay Aiken site has suddenly become my school year weekend project. Well, thats the way it goes.
6.12.04 ... I found a few more images and added them to the gallery. That brings the total image count so far to 85. If you know where I can find any images please let me know in the guestbook. The fanfic is still coming along, but a few nights ago one of the chapters got deleted and I had to retype it. I am finishing Chapter 10 tonight and may write 11. Hopefully, they won't get deleted anymore. I still have a long way to go, but you have to keep moving.
6.7.04 ... The fanfic is actually coming along. I've managed to advance the story a little bit. I don't want to post the chapters until I've finished the story. I hope you guys will enjoy reading it as much as I'm enjoying working on it. I'll let you guys know how its going.
6.5.04 ... Ok, heres the deal with the fanfiction: I am organizing all my thoughts and making it easier to write. I plan on adding a feature that will allow you to submit fanfiction for the site. This should give you guys something to read while I write mine. It is going to be really long. It may seem kind of out dated now but I really like the idea. Its what happens to Gary after the Pokemon League at the Indigo Plateau. I also have an idea for a sequel which won't be as out dated, but I can't have the sequel if I don't have the first one written. So, look for the submission form for fanfiction soon!
5.28.04 ... I haven't updated in a long time. This site will stay. I may find new images and I realize I haven't worked on the fanfiction for a while, I really haven't had time but I do plan on finishing it and like I said, I do have an idea for a sequel. I haven't watched the new Pokemon episodes in a while. I hope to start watching them soon again, I just don't have the time or I sleep in. I have been working on my new site: The Jukebox. This is a lyrics request site and to get it started I really need some requests to come in, so if you guys want to see lyrics to any song, go to the site and fill out the form.
2.26.04 ... I updated the information on Gary. I realized I should have added what happened in Johto a while ago.
2.19.04 ... I think I plan on keeping the site here and just Gary. I haven't fixed my Sailor Moon galleries yet. I hope to get enough fixed up to just open the site. Also, I do have plans for a Clay Aiken site which will take up time too. However, whats taking up time is me trying to make a good layout for it. All the ones I create are pretty bad. I can't seem to find any online that I like either. If you guys know where I can find a good layout featuring Clay Aiken please let me know and I'd be quite happy. Anyway, thats whats eating up my time. That and the fact that I still can't seem to write any more of the fanfic. I'll try and work on it when I get the inspiration. I'm trying to find more Shigeru images but they're hard to find on the internet. Also, if you guys have any suggestions or know where I can find more pictures please let me know in the guestbook. 1.25.04 ... Ok, heres the deal. School takes up a lot of time. Meanwhile, finals are over and after this three day weekend the stress is loosening. But, a new semester begins with new classes and new teachers, except a few. I will not forget about this site. This is the first "real" site I ever made. However, my interest in Pokemon is fading. I haven't watched new episodes for a while. I might watch some again and I might not, my favorite character is gone (for good or just a little while? I don't know), it is getting pretty predictable too. Don't worry this site isn't going anywhere. I'm pretty proud of it and had no idea that so many of you would come here and compliment it. I have no idea what to do with the site at this point. I've had a case of writers block when it comes to fanfiction and cannot think of what to write next whenever I sit down. I will finish it someday, but right now it isn't exactly happening. I had plans for a sequel to the fanfiction, but that could be a while. I will make attempts to work on the fanfiction, there are some things I may change to speed up the process, because it is going to be too long at this rate. I'm not sure when I'll figure out what to do with this site. I haven't exactly gotten my Sailor Moon gallery in order either and I have plans to start a Clay Aiken site (I know what you're thinking, Midi making a site not dedicated to an anime character? Thats probably a first, *N Sync almost got one but I ended up losing the drive, so that shows you how much more I love Clay). Anyway, so those two sites will be my priority, since this site is pretty complete except for a few things. I can't exactly find more good pics of Gary to put up here. They're hard to find believe me. I'm surprised the gallery is as big as it is with 81 images. That is one of the features of the site I am most complimented on, that and the layout. I didn't think the layout was that great. Well, it wouldn't be half as cute if it wasn't for Mewheart. I love the pic. Like I said this site isn't going anywhere, this isn't goodbye. I hope to at least start the Clay Aiken site, fix up the Sailor Moon gallery and figure out what to do with this site. The Ash/Gary shrine isn't exactly something I want to do. I may make a new layout and reorganize everything. This has been a long update, but just so you know where I stand.
12.20.03 ... Some people or some person really wants the site to become Ash and Gary. I'm not sure whether its the same person signing the guestbook or not but I do think the site would look better as Ash and Gary. I think my plans for a full out Pokemon site are falling through so that account will become a Ninetales shrine. To make the site about two characters I will have to move it onto Topcities to allow for the expansion. I am really leaning toward the idea because there are so few shrines to the both of these characters anymore and they are my favorites. I have to work on a new layout and stuff which will take a while. Meanwhile I'm trying to fix up my Sailor Moon gallery. Who knows how long I'll be working on the site.
11.23.03 ... Two updates in the same night. More like same 10 minutes. Anyway, I was looking through Anipike the other day (because I lost all my links with a switch from AOL to DSL then a little mishap with my Hotmail account) at the Pokemon sites. I realized that every link to a Gary shrine was pretty much dead or the owner had closed the site. I realized how much Gary's character is neglected now. I don't think he shows up in Pokemon Advanced (although, WB has only released 5 episodes so far). Normally, I'll check Serebii.net for when I've missed episodes or will miss. I've seen nothing as to Gary's return. Is his character gone for good? Or will he make some reappearance as he did at the end of the Orange Islands? Gary and Ash were the two characters we really saw changes in, Gary more drastically. He is suddenly gone now, it makes me wonder if it is worth it to leave the site up. The more I think about it the more I want to leave the site up. It was the first site I actually had running and I just realized I opened it officially a year ago today. The site isn't going anywhere, like many of the Gary shrines are. I want to keep expanding. Keep coming back for updates because this site isn't going down!
11.23.03 ... Two more images added to the gallery. I'm running out of places to get them. If you know of anywhere, please send me the site. Also, I'm going to try and work on the fanfic. Its taking a while and I have to organize the rest of it.
10.28.03 ... The episode guide is now totally updated. I don't think Gary will appear in Pokemon Advanced. It is quite disappointing. Anyway, I will be working on the quiz (finally) and attempting to do the fanfic. I've been having a bit of a writer's block plus school, so I really haven't worked on the fanfic much. I do have an idea for a sequel though. So I want to start writing that when I'm finished with the fanfic.
10.11.03 ... I fixed the episode guide and the Pokemon section, it took a while to get around to and apparently next week's episode will show Gary again but I'll work on it then. I admit I went ahead and read at Serebii.net. Anyway, I'll try to work on the fanfic more. I really want you guys to read it soon.
8.20.03 ... Not a real update again, sorry. I'm working on the fanfic. I start school next week so time will be limited. I am not moving the site it will stay here. So, check back for more information. Just letting you know I haven't forgotten the site.
7.11.03 ... No real update. Sorry. I am writing the fanfic though. I am also trying to move the site. I think whether you like the fanfic or not will depend on your view of Gary. You'll see what I mean.
6.12.03 ... I have decided, the site will be Gary & Ash. This means moving the site to Topcities where I will have 150 megs of space. I plan on making the shrine bigger. I'll let you guys know when its ready! If you have any ideas on what I should add please sign the guestbook. I would appreciate any ideas. I will try and keep working on the fanfiction I am currently writing. For now, I need to make a layout for the Topcities site, then I will move and rename images and upload and reupload, make new, nicer thumbnails, rewrite the info, try and work on some more fanfiction, and so on and so on.
6.12.03 ... I added 30 new images to the gallery. I can't add anymore until I find more websites to get them from. Go check them out, and keep voting on whether or not the site should be Shigeru and Satoshi.
6.8.03 ... I added six new images to the gallery. I'll add more when I have the time. It may not be this week, since I have finals, then next week I'm traveling. I'll work on the site when I can.

6.5.03 ... What have I been up to? I want to get some more images up. I'm running out of sources to get them. If you know where I can get some let me know. Anyway, I learned today that this is not only my most complete website (go me 'eh?) its also probably the one that is doing the best. I haven't been online the past three nights due to homework (honestly, why wait to give us chapter tests one week before the final!?), plus sickness. I couldn't talk yesterday. I'll put up a poll for the combined Gary & Ash website soon. Perhaps later today.

5.21.03 ... I've decided not to move the site. Geocities offers enough space for the size of the site. If I need more space then I will move. I don't really want to move to Topcities and have 120-130 MB of space not being used (they treat you good at Topcities don't they? but thats for big sites). Anyway, I will try to change the layout. I am still working on the fanfic. I really like the way I'm making it carry. Sorry to the ShiShi fans but its not a Shigeru/Satoshi fic (although I may write one eventually just for the heck of it). I've found my site linked on a couple sites (yippee, I didn't even ask). Thank you Ice Cold Indifference & Cherry Sunsets! Anyway, when I do finish the fic I'll put up a new layout. I think I'll keep using the same colors and pic, because I like the way it looks. I'll try and update soon!
5.19.03 ... Not exactly an update but I'd like to move the site off of Geocities. I hope to move to Topcities. I'm going to spend some time moving so I won't update. I am still working on the fanfic, although I haven't quite started in on the adventure yet.
3.8.03 ... Whoa Midi's updating! *falls off chair* But seriously, I added some new pics to the gallery and added captions to all the pictures. Thats it for today, I'm still writing the fanfic and don't know how long that will take.
2.8.03 ... I got around to adding "Extreme Pokemon" to the episode guide. Not much else is done. I'll get around to doing something eventually.
12.30.02 ... Yay Thumbnails!
I made thumbnails for the gallery. The gif images still don't have thumbnails though, I have to change them to jpegs first I think. The program I'm using to make the thumbnails doesn't support gifs, so I have to rename the files, which I will do later. I will not post more of the fanfic until I finish writing it. I have no idea when that will be.

11.23.02 ... The Grand-Opening
For a while I thought I would have this site on Expage, then I decided to switch to Topcities, but thats a lot of space for just a one character site, so I decided to put Gary Versus Ash on Geocities. This is basically a shrine to Gary Oak, don't ask how I came up with the name I just sat down once and thought about making a Gary shrine and thought: Gary versus Ash, that'd make a good title. So here it is. My little shrine to Shigeru.
