The
initial follow up to the S6 mask was the S8. However this type never was
issued. Instead the S10 was developed and is now known as one of the best
NBC defense respirators in the world. View and comfort are excellent. The
S10 mask became a very well seen "face" during the Gulf War wearing by
the British soldiers during training at chemical alerts .
The S10 even has a duplicate made in Pakistan.
Derived from the S10 is the FM12, which is exported and
the current issue of the Dutch Army.
