Fireworks

Fireworks are great fun. They can also be very dangerous. There are sites out there in 'Webland' that claim to be written by 'experts' . These sites give details on how to make fireworks. Now here's the crunch. Some sites may be OK but I have seen sites that won't. There are some, written by 'experts', that will lead to you being maimed or killed. Maimed is a nice clean word you might replace it with traumatic amputation. I have seen instructions which, if you follow them, will lead to bits of you being spread around the place in a very messy fashion. YOU WILL PROBABLY DIE. I don't mean you'll get away with it nine times out of ten, I mean you will be hurt or killed the first time you try it!! Home made fireworks are also illegal in the UK. All I can say is this: If you do find a DIY firework site and decide to give it a try then on your own head be it!

Having read the above you probably think I'm none too keen on fireworks. Well you're wrong. The day they ban fireworks is the day I leave. I do not consider fireworks to be any great threat to the safety of the nation. I leave that to road traffic. I like fireworks. I like watching them. I like buying them and I like setting them off!! When I can find a way to do it legally and safely I will make them.
