My weight loss journey with:
My name is Carrie.  I've never been a "skinny" girl, but I was also not fat.  I always considered myself athletic when I was in school.  I used to take dance lessons, play softball and I was always on the cheerleading squad.  The picture you see on my homepage is me when I was 145 and was taken the summer before my Senior year of high school.  This was the lowest weight I had ever been.  And I thought I looked pretty good.  After I graduated I gained the - all to famous - freshman 15, then had surgery to have a tumor removed from my ovary, and then got pregnant and had my wonderful son Trever (and never got rid of the baby weight).  After all this was said and done I weighed in at an all time high of 202.5!!  OH MY!  This was a big wake up call for me.  I was having all sorts of medical problems with my back and knees and had no energy what-so-ever to play with my darling baby boy!

I took charge and joined a gym on September 5, 2002 weighing 202.5.  I decided it wasn't enough to just exercise, I needed to learn to eat right too.  So I joined Weight Watchers Online on September 23, 2002 weighing 193.  My progress has been slow, but I am seeing progress.  My ultimate goal  is to weigh 135, be healthy for my family and to be happy with myself.  I think this is definately a do-able goal.

I wish you all the luck if you are on the same journey as I am and if not please pray for me to stick with mine.

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!

See how I try to hide myself behind my son?  I don't want to have to do that anymore!
