Disclaimer: I do NOT know nor
have I ever met any member of *NSYNC. They are their own person and, well, I
don't particularly want to know them. Shoots down all those preconceived
notions, you know. Anyway, I mean no offense to any person mentioned in my
stories. I hold the deepest respect for who they are and what they do. So in
other words: read, have fun, make merry, and remember that these stories are FICTION and, therefore, NOT real. |
“Okay. Yeah, we can do that.” Lance
said into the phone as he checked over the group's schedule. “Tell the station
we've only got thirty minutes so they need to have everything ready to go when
we get there.” He listened a moment. “Umm hmm, that's it. Bye.”
“Lance! How long 'til the limo gets
here?”
“Ten minutes, Justin. Hurry up!” Lance
glanced at his watch and then at the chaos in the room. They were going to be
pushing it to be ready. Justin didn't have his hair fixed, Joey was hunting for
his missing sock, Chris had shaving cream on half his face and no shirt on, and
JC was nowhere in sight. Peeking his head in the bathroom Lance saw Justin
putting gel in his hair. “Have you seen JC?”
“Crap! I forgot. He said he wanted to
talk to you. He's waiting for you in your room.”
“Thanks, J.” Lance hurried down the
hall to the room he shared with JC. Just as he reached to open the door it
swung open.
“There you are. I was beginning to
wonder.” JC grabbed Lance by the lapels of his jacket and pulled him into the
room. He kicked the door shut and shoved Lance back against it.
Before Lance knew what hit him, JC's
warm mouth was on his and his tongue was demanding entrance. His hands made
their way up to the sides of JC's face, and he angled his head for better
contact as JC's tongue probed the depths of his mouth. He responded by lightly
sucking on his tongue.
Oxygen soon became an issue and the
two separated.
“Wow. What was that for?”
“That was for you being the sweetest,
kindest, sexiest, most lovable man I know.” JC said as he rested his hands on
Lance's shoulders. He smiled at the passion clouding his baby's eyes. “I have a
surprise for you.”
Lance kissed the corner of JC's mouth
and took hold of his hands. “It's gonna have to wait, babe. The limo will be
here any minute.”
JC pulled Lance toward the dresser.
“No, no waiting.” He picked up two of what looked liked room card key holders.
"I have two tickets to paradise and one has your name on it. Are you
willing to come along?"
“JC, we have three interviews and a
movie premiere to go to today.”
JC laced his fingers with Lance's and
pulled him closer. “The guys have already agreed to cover for us.” He leaned
his forehead against Lance's. “Today is just for us. No cell phones. No
interviews. No nothing. Just you and me. What do you say?”
Lance groaned and captured JC's lips
with his own. Breaking the kiss he said, “Okay, you talked me into it. Where
are these tickets for?”
“Paradise.”
“Can you be a little more specific?”
“No. Just follow me.” JC didn't let go
of Lance's hand as he led him back to the main part of the suite and to the
door. JC raised his free hand in a wave. “Bye, guys. See ya later.”
JC led Lance across the hall. Lance
was amazed when he opened the door. Dozens of lit candles illuminated the room.
Satin sheets adorned the hotel bed and fluffy pillows had been scattered around
with abandon. The soft scent of rosemary wafted on the air as wine and fruit
stood ready on a picnic blanket that had been spread on the floor.
He looked at JC's smiling face and saw
his own love mirrored there. He didn't deserve someone so loving and
thoughtful. “I love you, JC.”
“I love you too, baby. Welcome to
paradise.” No other words were needed for the rest of the night.
