BILLS

Bills are proposed laws. They are not intended to directly proclaim the beliefs of the system...they do some action once they are enacted into law. Resolutions, not bills, announce the intentions and/or beliefs of the Chamber.

An outline of a bill can be found at the National Catholic Forensic League site's Student Congress Appendix.

All resolutions and bills should have their lines numbered in the left-hand margin. This allows for easy and fast reference for all members of the chamber when amendments are made.
