The Important Intro
Madikeoh is basically playing the Magic the Gathering card game with more than just Magic cards or no Magic cards at all. It has different rules governing each card category along with other rules to make the game work. I think it is fun with only Pokemon cards, but it can be played with any combination of Magic the Gathering cards (Magic cards), Pokemon cards, and Yu-gi-oh cards. Digimon cards (original and D-tector cards) may also be played in this game, but using them may give you a headache if you're not into math. If you're just into the characters and like seeing the combinations of Digimon, Pokemon, and duel monsters battling each other on teams then my Madikeoh version of the D-tector card game that I call Dedikeoh is more suited for you. Dedikeoh is way less complex than madikeoh and would not be fun for (the majority of) Magic the Gathering fans. Madikeoh however adds more elements to the game of Magic the Gathering.
Those who have played the Pokemon TCG or the Yu-gi-oh! TCG should have no problem understanding the rules in this game governing their corresponding cards. Practically all Magic the Gathering rules apply to this game since it is the base of Madikeoh. I will not explain the elements of Magic the Gathering that would only apply if you were playing with Magic cards, so if you want to play with magic cards, I suggest you get a Magic the Gathering Rule book or something. Depending on what you know, please forgive me for trying to explain things you already understand in unfamiliar or familiar terms. The following should be enough info for you to play as long as you know at least one of the following: Magic the Gathering, the Pokemon TCG, the Pokemon e TCG (although I've never played it), the Yu-gi-oh! TCG.
What cards you use determines what rules you need to know, so if no one is playing with Digimon cards (I suggest you don't start off playing with digimon cards because it probably won't be fun) then you don't need to know the rules governing Digimon cards.

The Rules
As in Magic the Gathering, there is a minimum of 60 cards in a deck, but the number of cards you can put in a deck is infinite, and the number of players is infinite as well.

The object of Madikeoh is the same as in Yu-gi-oh! and Magic the Gathering- to get all your opponent's life points down to zero. If an opponent has no creatures or walls to protect them then their life points are open to a direct attack.
# of Life Points:
If you or any of your opponents are playing with any Digimon or Yu-gi-oh! cards (If D or Y*) I suggest you the start off with 80 life points (because 4x20=80). Otherwise I think it should start off with 20 life points like in Magic the Gathering. The more players and points you start off with makes the game longer, but I think whoever made 20 the number of life points for Magic the Gathering knew what they were doing.

Important equivalences for all:
Magic's land cards and Pokemon's energy cards = mana
When I say a mana of any color, that includes all of both Pokemon Energies and Magic's lands.
Creatures= Pokemon, Digimon, duel monsters
duel monsters are the creatures or monsters in Yu-gi-oh! cards
The plains, mountains, etc. down below are Majic cards while the energy cards are Pokemon.
Plains = Electric and Fighting Energies Mountains = Fire Energies
Forest = Leaf Energies Swamp = Psychic Energies Island = Water Energies
Colorless energies(white) count as any color mana.
For those who don't know Magic the Gathering (Magic):
If you've played Pokemon and don't know what life points are, think of life points as your HP as a player and when they reach zero you're out of the game. (You have your own HP detached from your Pokemon's HP. One of your pokemon being knocked out may not have any effect of your HP/health points/life points/ LP)

Tapping a card is placing a card side ways
like place a monster from attack mode to defense mode in Yu-gi-oh!
or making them asleep or paralysed in Pokemon

Untapping a card is turning the card from a sideways position to an upright verticle position
like moving a monster from defense mode to attack mode in Yu-gi-oh!
or waking up a sleeping Pokemon

Summoning Sickness means that a card can't attack or use any special abilities on the turn it is played, but it may defend an attack.

Trample If a card with trample (card A) has an attack power of 3, and it is blocked by a card with a defense of 1 or a Yu-gi-oh! card in attack mode with an attack of 1(card B), then the card with trample (card A) wins, sends the other card to the (discard pile/graveyard) and takes away 2 of the opponents life points because 3 - 1 = 2. If card A didn't have trample, it would still knock out card B, but no life points would be deducted.

As in Magic the Gathering Rules:
1. Each player draws 7 cards to begin with. You must have at least one mana(explained later) in your hand. Otherwise reshuffle and draw 6 cards.
2. Decide who goes first and if more than 2 people are playing decide who goes 2nd, 3rd, etc.
3. The first player draws a card from their deck and places down a mana untapped. They may tap the mana to bring out (summon) a card if they can (explained later). Every player draws a card from their deck on their turn, unless a Magic card in play breaks this rule. Every turn after a player's first turn, there is something called an untap phase that is the phase right before a player draws a card. In a player's untap phase he or she may untap any cards under his or her control that aren't untapped unless otherwise specified on the card (or another card in play), or otherwise specified in Madikeoh rules.

Attacking and Defending- except for playing with Yu-gi-oh! cards.
The same as in Magic the Gathering: when a creature attacks, its attack points go up against the other's defense points and vice versa at the same time. The defending player could knock out the attacking player's creature or the attacking player could knock out the defending player's creature. The two creatures could knock each other out this way, since when one creature attacks another, both attack and defend each other unless otherwise specified on the card (first strike, trample, flying, etc on Magic cards are the same as in Magic rule books). Of course the higher points wins. If the defense is strong enough against the attack it lives. Otherwise it goes to the graveyard or discard pile. Digimon cards act like all Pokemon cards, that life points aren't subtracted when knocking creatures out (in other words, Digimon and Pokemon cards don't have Trample).
When attacking, the opponent who is defending gets to choose out of his or her untapped creatures, which creatures defend whom or if the attack goes directly to their life points, unless a card breaks this rule by what is written on it.
For those who play with Magic cards:
If you know what flying is and how to defend with two or more untapped creatures in Magic the Gathering then you may apply those rules in this game as well, but make sure everyone understands the rules everyone's playing by before starting the game.

Magic cards
Magic cards are summoned untapped unless otherwise specified on the card, or unless another card in play changes these rules.
all numbers pertaining to mana cost stay the same
If D or Y* all other numbers are multiplied by 4
(Option 1)
All Majic cards get +3,+0 when attacking or blocking Pokemon Cards
If a sorcey or instant deals damage to a pokemon it deals 3 more damage.
..............Disregaurd the below if you like (Option 1)..................
I think option 1 is the fairest, but I'm hessitant to delete option 2 or 3, since both were originally posted here.

(Option 2)
All Majic cards get +2,+2 when attacking or blocking Pokemon Cards

(Option 3)
If a magic card originally (doesn't matter if it has enchantments, equipments or enhancements of any sort, so it doesn't matter if it has an attack power of 5 thanks to an enchantment) has a defense of 3 or less, one point is added to the defense of that Magic card temporarily while it is attacking or defending a Pokemon card.
Before playing with magic cards decide between choice A) or B):
A)A magic card with an attack power of 3 or less puts that many damage counters on Pokemon when attacking or defending a Pokemon that only took one mana to come out. Otherwise, nothing changes.
B)All magic creature cards get +3, +0 until end of turn when attacking or blocking a pokemon.(that is adding 3 to its attack)

Mathematic Shortcuts
If only Magic and Pokemon cards, divide Pokemon card numbers by 10 and keep all Magic card numbers the same as it is written on the cards.
When Digimon vs Digimon keep numbers the same as is on the card.
Do the same for duel monster vs. duel monster, Pokemon vs. Pokemon, or Magic Card vs. Magic Card
