Scoutmaster's Minute

Participation- Webster's defines it as joining with others in something or to take part. to have a share in something. Put your hand in front of you and look at your fingers, close your hand and make a fist, your fingers work well together don't they. Imagine that you were missing a couple of your fingers your hand won't work as well would it? This is what happens when you and members of your patrol miss a meeting or a troop event. Participation by everyone is vital to our Troop Survival. It is up to every member to find out what is going on with his patrol and where he needs to be to help out. If you are in a leadership postion you should know what is going on with your patrol and who is doing what.  Mr. Ed
