Intro...
Lego racers was a nice little game for the GameBoy Color and now more recently, a GameBoy Advance version has been released. Basically the game involves tiny Lego people racing around different circuits, much in the style of "Mario Kart". The story mode gives this game a bit of difference from most other racers, where other Lego men challenge you to racers across town.

Gameplay
Okay, I'm going to be really generous here. The gameplay is dismal. I found the game way too cute for older audiences, and way too difficult for the youngens. Any type of game needs a good balance between being the difficulty of the game, and the targeted audience, this is where the gameplay dies for this game. It's hard to tell who their selected audience was.

Graphics
Graphics are very crisp and clear. This game is very bright and colorful, this works especially well for the GameBoy Advance. Nevertheless, as mentioned before I find it way too cute. Also some of the races seemed a bit "genericish". What I mean is, you know how heaps cheap shareware style games always seem the same boring design and tend to rip off other, better games? Well that's what the racing graphics of this game reminds me of.

Sound
The sound accompanis the action quite well. Now I didn't say they were any thing special, pretty adverage actually. But it seemed to work okay.

Controls
The controls for this game are, as for most other GameBoy games, pretty good. Ha! and you thought nothing could be good about this game! Well the controls are the best part. They feel instinctive and reponsive. No big deal really, it's merely the controls.

Final Comments
This game is best left alone. Instead let me recomment the greatest game for te GameBoy Advance ever, Mario Kart Super Circuit! Definately buy this game instead and you won't be dissapointed. If you already have Mario Kart Super Circuit, then you don't need this at all. Simply put, this game is total gutter-trash, and you're better of banging your head on a kerb than wasting your precious time and money on this.
