About Giving Back to Backstreet
Giving Back to Backstreet is a fan-based organization. We are NOT an official Backstreet charity, we just raise money to give to Backstreet charities. I am the founder and president of GBB. My name is Amanda Nelson, and I'm 20 years old. This website is designed by me. Everything you find for sale on this website was made by me. I took the concert pictures myself, I started the support group, and I make the seashells, books, etc. I am here to accomidate you in any way possible. If there is something special you want, I'll do my best to make sure that you get it!

I decided to start Giving Back to Backstreet in late 2001. I started it, because I wanted a way to thank the Backstreet Boys for all they've done for me. Since I obviously can't just walk up to them and thank them, I decided that I could raise money for their charities. To date, we have raised over $275 for BSB charities. We hope to someday hit the $1,000 dollar mark. I try to keep the things on my website as cheap as possible. I want you to have money to give to any/all BSB charity fundraisers, or other charities, your heart desires! If any of the prices are too expensive for you, please let me know and I will work to change that.

I have been deeply affected by the Backstreet Boys. In times of depression, their song "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely" gave me something to relate to so I didn't feel so alone. Their song "The One" made me feel like there was someone out there who cared and would "make my sorrows undone". Their song "The Answer to Our Life" inspired me to become vegetarian (working towards veganism). They as people have inspired me to become involved in charities. I recently applied to join Americorps (i'll let you know if i get in!). They each have tought me something with their personalities. Kevin has tought me that something small and thoughtful can go a long way... Brian has reminded me what true acceptance really is... Howie has shown me a lot about the great things that come from dedication to a cause.. Alex has tought me a lot about being myself and overcoming problems in a dignified and respectable way... and Nick has tought me that one of the most endearing parts of a person are their "faults", as well as that looks really mean nothing. (I don't mean Nick isn't cute,  he's VERY good looking, i simply mean that Nick has shown that there's so much more to him,. and you shouldn't judge someone based on looks alone.. bad OR good).

I want to thank you for taking the time to help Backstreet charities. Together, we, the Backstreet family, can change the world. May you be blessed in life and love. KTBSPA! "Live Life to the Fullest for the Future is Scarce" ~ N.C..
