A 75 feet, 100 tonner boat with a built-in chapel on the lower deck and a Medical Missions Clinic on the main deck is manned by eight seamen, all dedicated to reach out to needy millions in the Philippine archipelago.
Island Evangel has traveled the Inland Sea of Japan for 16 years bringing the Good News to the inhabitants of its isolated islands.
Now in the Philippines, gospel ship Island Evangel travels the coasts and islands with medical teams and volunteer christian workers to bring relief to many who have been stricken with hunger, sickness and natural disasters.
The gospel ship has carried :
milk from the Don Stewart Ministries;
The Miracle Wheat from Mr. and Mrs Fisher of Wisconsin;
Medicines and relief goods from the Sommer Haven International ;
medical supplies, books and teaching aids from friends and partners of the Living Miracle Foundation and The Glimpse of Jesus Missions .
