| Welcome! Thanks for visiting the CHAMPS web site! Whether you are new to Jacksonville and looking for a support group, new to home schooling and looking for some advice, or just browsing the site for updates...we're glad you're here! Our group meets every Thursday from 11AM to 1PM (Sept. thru May) at Oceanway Community Center in Jacksonville, FL. Our monthly schedule is usually: 1st Thursday: Committee Planning 2nd Thursday: Art 3rd Thursday: Science 4th Thursday: Field Trip We don't collect dues, but our projects and trips sometimes involve a per child cost. Our Yahoo Group keeps you updated on all the latest CHAMPS events, so be sure to join. Simply enter your email address in the Yahoo Groups box below. We welcome new families all school year (Sept. - May), so jump in any time and participate as much as you like. We have children of all ages...from infant to high school. Our group is primarily a social outlet, for parents as well as children! If you are looking for a warm group of Christian home school families, you've found it in CHAMPS! |
