El Camino Academy

They put us to work as substitutes while we were there, and it worked out beautifully for all of us.  We got a good look at several of the classes in session.

These pictures show a little bit of classroom life at the school.
Margaret teaching the second and third graders.  By the end of the week she was thinking of them as "her kids"  This is some of the junior high students in a music class.  They are in the multipurpose room that is between the two courtyards.  Chapels, assemblies, and other activities also take place in this room.
Some of the elementary kids during physical fitness testing during P.E. Elementary students hard at work on projects in their classroom.
Another one of the lower elementary classrooms.  It won't be that long until our own two children will be learning in this same room.   High school art class.  A variety of electives are offered each year depending on teacher abilities and student and teacher interest.
