Bad Character or Just Bad Lies?
With the trade talks involving Alex Rodriguez and Manny Ramirez all over the news many people have said that Nomar does not have good character and is a loner in the clubhouse.
Let me point out the fact Nomar does many things for the community. Nomar has done a charity car wash for schools athletic departments. Who can forget the Nomar Bowl that is put on every year? He has teamed up with Verizon in the past to promote literacy awareness in the Boston area.
He has so much talent and loves the game. He couldn’t live without the pressure that is put on him by Boston fans. He loves it here. I don’t understand how the media can question his faith. If it’s anyone’s faith that they can’t question, it’s Nomars. He goes out there and plays as hard as he can. I read in a newspaper article once that Nomar looked as if he was a loner in the clubhouse. He wasn’t talking with his teammates as much and was very much to himself. I don’t understand how somebody could have said that with facts. Everywhere you see Nomar, he has a smile on his face and so do the people he is talking to. In 2003, you always saw Nomar talking with Manny, Pedro, Millar, and many other teammates.
If you ask anybody that has met Nomar what it was like meeting him you will get the same response. They will all say he was very nice and such a great person. He’s just a lovable player. The best as they come. So do not believe anything you hear about Nomar in the papers, by fans, or anywhere, Nomar is a class act, he gives to the Boston community. He’s a great player and a great fan of Boston. If anyone thinks otherwise, they are inaccurate. Nomar is a wonderful person and nobody has enough facts to say otherwise.
