The Christopher Martin Cemetery This cemetery is located down Thorne Run, Martin, WV. It is less than a mile and on the north side of the road. You go back the road to the home of Don Bible. Park in his drive way and walk straight out the hill to the cemetery. Christopher Martin died February 12, 1882 at 70 years, 2 months and 1 day. On the bottom of his monument it says made by J. B. Williams, Frostburg, Maryland. His two wives are listed on the other sides of his monument. Nancy Martin died June 07, 1851 35 years old , 10 months and 7 days. Eliza Martin died December 29, 1891 74 years , 18 days. Minnie Lee Markwood, wife of Solomon George born December 05, 1869, died March 07, 1895. C.C. Martin husband of Marion Martin died April 07, 1896      son of Christopher Martin Thornton C. Martin, son of C. C. and M. Martin born November 08, 1895, died October 18, 1898. Infant son of C. C. and M. Martin Infant son of C. C. and M. Martin. Otis A. Martin, son of C. C. and M. Martin born June 22, 1887, died June 23, 1887 Z. T. Martin born September 20, 1847, died August 11, 1898 50 years, 10 months and 21 days our love one is gone. The voice is still. A place is vacant in our home. This world can never fill.
