This cemetery is located 1/4 mile off Rt 42. Turn right onto the first road leading off the Jordan Run Road. Located in a field now owned by Ruth & Twila Hesse.

Following info about this man: a married man with two children was attempting to go from Va to Ohio to escape being drafted during the Civil War. To take care of travel expenses he worked on farms as he traveled. On the Hesse Farm he was hoeing corn when soldiers came along and killed him. They buried him on the spot where he was working.
