The Abraham Rotruck Cemetery

It is located on the West Side of Knobley road about ˝ mile from the Mineral county line into Grant County on the property of Gene and Dottie Hughes. Abraham Rotruck is the great great grandfather of both Gene and Dottie. His son Abraham is Gene’s great grandfather and his son; Thomas is Dottie’s great grandfather. This cemetery is enclosed with an iron fence.

Rotruck, William D. August 1847- 20 March 1935, son of Abraham and Miranda (Leatherman) Rotruck. (Wm. was called Preacher Bill) Not because he was a preacher.

Rotruck, Anna J., 1852-1894, the wife of William Rotruck. She was the daughter of Amber and Rebecca (George) Arnold.

Stone impossible to read: ( I believe this to be the unnamed child of W.D, and Anna J. that was born and recorded in Grant County records: Male (not named) Rotruck born 24 September 1889, died 26 October 1889. Cause unknown 28 days old.)

Wellington G. Rotruck died October 28, 1887, children of W. D. and A. J. Rotruck. Possibility the first grave to be put in this little cemetery.

Rotruck, Abraham born January 17, 1808, died April 11, 1895

Rotruck, Rebecca born November 11, 1822, died August 22, 1894 age 74 years, 9 months and 11 days. The second wife of Abraham Rotruck. She was the mother of Anna J. Rotruck and also the widow of Amber Arnold.
