Other Awesome Bands

Paging Mr. Herman consists of Tony Trov, Nick Anastasi, Dave Gambacorta, Joe Smith, and last but not least, Al Bruno. Their website is not yet up finished so bear with it and check back frequently. I know Trov through high school and he is one of the coolest guys ever. I do know for a fact that these guys put on and AWESOME live show. So good, that chicks and a guy (who shall remain nameless for his own protection, although the GAMP crew all know who he is...) have thrown their underwear on stage. These guys r the coolest, funniest, and handsome set of men that have ever played in South Philly...make that the world :o)

PLOY

PLOY is a six piece, consisting of two bass players, a guitarist, drummer/percussionist, media manipulation, and sought out WORDS. PLOY's methods embody somber melodies, with superior low end intensity and technicality, going from a lullaby, to all out mayhem within the span of one's intentions. Familiarity through diversity, channeled to surface in an engaging process of unpredictabilty, that not only subdues. but also heightens awareness. So rise and fall with us as we cleanse and heal from within and around. (This was taken from their official website.) I came across this band through my friend Franco who is one of the bassists. I know Franco from high school and he is an awesome bassist not to mention a very sweet guy (and he's single girls!)

Big Swing Face

Currently the band performs in the Philadelphia and Atlantic City area. Along with Big Swing Face's original material and arragements, the band also features music from artists such as Basie, Ellington, and Sinatra, to current new swing artists. Since Big Swing Face has such versatile musicians we are able to do many different styles such as straight ahead jazz and smooth jazz to motown classics and R&B. My friend Ben Vinci is in this band and they are all awesome musicians :o)
