Grading Guide

First of all, if you want to see a pic of a specific book, e-mail me & let me know. I'll send you what I can.

Very Fine/Near-Mint (VF/NM):

Beautiful book - like you just bought it. I use VF & NM together since you can argue that a VF book (can see slight imperfections) is regarded by some as NM (near-mint, which is the industry standard).

Fine-Very Fine (FVF):

Stress lines along spine or cover, small flaking, rounded corners, spine creases allowed.

Fine (FN)

Still a good-looking book, but obvious signs of wear, but no major creasing.

Very Good (VG)

Average-looking books. Basically, these have been used but not abused. Expect creases & minor tears.

Good (G), Fair (F) and Poor (P)

Don't expect much from these. If you're collecting, these would be "reading" issues. Still not horrible to get if you're looking for an old book for a small price.
