| INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS For whatever you face, God promises to supply the needed strength. You only need to ask. Are you weighed down with burdens? Lift them onto Jesus' capable shoulders. For each wounded heart, God knows the unique and individualized surgery He will heal it with. Even though it seems like evil forces are winning on this earth, God will have the final victory because He's so much stronger and He wrote the script! No matter how alone or misunderstood you feel, Jesus understands. He's rooting for your success in His power. When you are at the end of your rope, God delights in grabbing your hand and pulling you up. Although serving God can get weary at times, don't give up! Persevere! God's reward is worth waiting for! A Christian is like a tea bag..... he's not worth much until he's been through some hot water. Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved. A good thing to remember is that you can't save face if you loose your head! It's a real temptation to tell that little whit lie, but only speaking the truth gives peace of mind. WARNING: Reading the Bible can be habit forming. Regular use causes loss of anxiety, decreased appetite for lying, cheating, stealing, and hating. SYMPTOMS: increased sensations of love, peace, joy, and compassion. No matter how far you stray from God, it only takes seeking Him again to restore your relationship with Him. The only person or thing who will not disappoint us is God. Looking at life from God's perspective sets you free from all sorts of wrong assumptions. Have you wondered what a disciple of Jesus really is? It's a person who makes the Bible their greatest source for living. Sometimes the Bible seems confusing, but if we will ask God for understanding, God will give it to us. Never doubt in the dark what you have learned and God has told you in the light. Have you ever noticed that worry concentrates on yesterday or tomorrow? Instead, commit today to God and leave the results to Him. If you have one eye on yesterday and one eye on tomorrow, you will look at today cross-eyed. We've all felt like everybody is against us at times, but Jesus says He's on our side and we need not feel alone. Our spiritual battery has been drained all week. Spend Sunday worshiping God and start the new week with a fully charged battery. Stormy weather is what man needs from time to time to remind him that he's really not in charge of anything, We can't expect our own sins to be forgiven when we haven't forgiven others. Forgive and then be forgiven. The first step toward the soul's recovery is the knowledge of the sin committed. Feeling distant from God? It only takes a turn in His direction and He is right there. When God forgives your sins, He makes it disappear as if it were erased off a blackboard and man does God have a big eraser! Mercy is "unlimited second chances." No matter how many times you need God's grace and mercy, He offers it to you. Triumph is just umph added to try. In Christian service the branches that bear the most fruit hang the lowest. God hasn't arranged our anatomy so as to make it easy for us to pat ourselves on the back.
