EPHESIANS ROAD

CHILDREN OF WRATH
Ephesians 2:3
Among whom also we all had our manner of life in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

ALIENS/STRANGERS
Ephesians 2:12
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world.

BLINDNESS OF HEART
Ephesians 4:18-20
Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.  But ye have not so learned Christ

WRATH OF GOD
Ephesians 5:5-6
For this ye know, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater) hath any inheritance in the kingdon of Christ and of God.  Let no man deceive you with vain words; for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience.

AWAKE (to the Gospel message)
Ephesians 5:14
Wherefore, he saith, awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD
Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

NOT OF WORKS
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God-not of works, lest any man should boast.

JESUS CHRIST’S SUBSTITUTION AND ACCESS TO THE FATHER
Ephesians 2:13-19
But now in Christ Jesus ye who once were far off are made near by the blood of Christ.  For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances, to make in Himself of two one new man, so making peace; and that He might reconcle both unto God in one body by the cross,  having slain the enmity therby, and came and preached peace to you who were afar off, and to them that were near.  For through Him we both have acces by one Spirit unto the Father.  Now, therefore, ye are no more strangers and sojourners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST GAVE HIMSELF FOR US
Ephesians 5:2
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor.
