In Loving Memory of Dow Jones January 15 2002 - August 3 2002

On Saturday August 3rd sometime in the afternoon between 2 and 5 pm Dow Jones died.  He had been brought outside in his new portable habitat carrier and left in the shade with some water.  It is presumed that the water evaporated when the sun shifted from east to west while myself and family were in our swimming pool.  I will be laying him to rest in his favorite outdoor spot, in a flower garden in my backyard.  I am greatly saddened by this loss and hope that others will not make the same mistake.  Leopard Geckos may be desert animals but cannot be left in the summer sunlight for extened time periods.  The day after the death I purchased another baby Leopard Gecko.  Now named Dow Jones Jr.  I will soon begin posting his pictures on the site but will still continue to move all of the other pictures to the site.
