MASUM

Manabadhikar Suraksha Mancha (MASUM) took shape in 1998, the 50th Anniversary year of the Universal Declaration of human rights, to form a platform for the human rights activists based in Calcutta.

 VASUNDHARA

Vasundhara Concern for Environmental Rights, shortnamed Vasundhara, is an environmental organisation. It is a conglomeration of people actively involved in raising their voices for an environmentally better tomorrow. Be it against industrial pollution or saving the urban wetlands, Vasundhara acts like a bridge between its' activists and common people.

DISHA

Since 1995, DISHA is working on Environment, Social Health, Human Rights and related issues. A team of health professionals, environmental professionals and human rights and social activists constituted the organisation with the commitment to develop awareness among the toiling people, to locate their environmental risks, occupational hazards, health problems and related social constraints and to find their remedies.

CHANDRANI

Chandrani is the abbreviated form of the ' Centre for Human and Women Rights and Allied Issues '. As the name suggests, the main objective of it is to collect information on human rights, women and allied issues that encompasses various aspects of life.

AROGYASANDHAN : Volunteering health services to society's downtrodden people

Established in 1998,Arogya Sandhan has been engaged in catering medical care to down-trodden section of the society.

SRAMAJIBI HOSPITAL

Belur Sramajibi hospital is not just another hospital. It is unique in it's own way. Situated at Belur, a small industrial town near Greater Kolkata, about 10 KM from the city. It started with a clinic and a different health awareness programmes by some doctors and retrenced workers of a factory.

This section is primarily aimed at portraying the arts and ideas generally ignored by the mainstream media. The works, that are less known, but no less either in talent or quality of their work.
