Forget me not, don't turn away,
Don't forsake me this cold day,
Seek not to rend me from within,
Don't treat my love as mortal sin,
Forget me not, don't turn away,
There is no reason not to stay,
My devotion is not a thing to fear,
Don't leave me here with nothing but tears,
Forget me not, don't turn away,
I did not mean to lead you astray,
I never did mean to dress you in chains,
My love was not given to cause you such pain,
Forget me not, don't turn away,
Please tell me it is for my soul that you pray,
Forgive what I've done as I stand here and cry,
Forgive me my love for letting you die.....
