Cheylin's "Enjoy The Season"
© 1997-2004 Cheylin - A PC Original Poet
As shades of summer melt into fall,
and the autumn winds begin to call
And autumn leaves fall with ease,
from stately maple and sycamore trees
When squirrels begin to build their nest,
lined with leaves for perfect rest
We know that winter is not far away,
speeding forward with shortening day
When winter winds also draw near,
and lace snowflakes begin to appear
Light a fire with its beauty grand,
and enjoy the season that God hath planned
