God made me eternal.
In this wise I exist because I was born.
Temporal, being mortal, is my fleshy shell;
and, not spirit as I am, it may someday lay
where the quick go to mourn.

I believe IN Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
and that, He died and quickened again.
Though I was headed into eternal fire,
accepting His Grace saved me from that; for,
God's blood paid for the sins of all men.

So, I hope to go home swift and lightly,
as in the twinkling of an eye!
That's what Jesus meant by saying,
"Surely I come quickly,"; so, the me you see,
mightn't lay at all, but disappear into the sky!
