Debby Jaries's "Aren't We The Same"
© 2003-2004 Debby Jaries
Though oceans may separate us from each other
we all share one earth one sky.

Though our skin may be of different color
there is not much difference between you and I.

We all came into this world by way of being born.
One day all our lives will end for all of us must die.

All of us bleed the same.
Have hurt, Feel pain.

Have lost, May gain.
We all have seen the sun and rain.

Though our languages are spoken differently,
we all must communicate.

It is how we can express our thoughts,
words can carry a lot of weight.

Though we may not speak alike. The emotions allow us to identify,
and we are able to relate.

All of us bleed the same
Have hurt, Feel pain.

Have lost, May gain.
We all have seen the sun and rain.

It would be wise to remember we all share our living space.
Everybody has a name everybody has a face.

Lets be good to one another.
For we are just apiece of what is called the HUMAN RACE!
