The abode of God,
heaven,
celestial paradise,
beauty,
happiness,
Psalms of music,
poems of awe-odes,
the firmament,
the expanse,
sky,
God's throne,
where we'll go-when called home.

But now
we live on
earth,
dry land,
surface of the globe,
God's footstool,
a rare earth element,
our county,
our land,
the abode of mortal man.

Its not to be taken for granted
or sworn upon in
hostile times or times of peace.
No vows from our lips,
earth oaths to cease.
