Forever, the poets write when speaking of love; 
Telling of destinies created from above. 
My love, we know these words don't apply; 
Our love had its season and we can't live a lie.

When one is afraid to give, the other is afraid to live; 
And as the fear overtakes there is nothing to give. 
We never wanted to admit, there would come this day; 
And I will love you forever, never again, will I say.

The mysteries of love one cannot define; 
The merging of our lives when two souls combine. 
The singing of the spirit, when passions take to flight; 
One dominant spirit causing both to lose sight.
