Pearlie Duncan Walker's "Gods’ Holy Son"
© 2003 by Pearlie Duncan Walker

God saw His creation going so far away, from His word...
He knew... He needed to bring a Savior to be heard.
He picked a maiden... who was pure of heart and soul
Planted the seed of the Holy Spirit in her... to be our goal.

The destination of our hope, and joy... in this world today.
God wanted us to watch His Sons’ ways... and deeds in a way...
That would make a new beginning... to bring each generation
Back to the way He first built the Garden of Eden; His creation.

He is HERE in our hearts today... if only we let him, welcome be...
For this is the way... to pave the road to sweet eternity
With the ONE... who made each of us... formed us in the womb...
Even before he had to die and have an old stone put at His tomb.

Mary must have been so Blest... to carry this Christ Child...
Oh the joy of knowing His words... and His pure heart so mild.
I claim Him as Savior forever... for me and my household...
Jesus has been with each of us... as another joined the fold.

Once again His Birthday is here upon us; let us worship His name.
I want to see Him at the head of our table... all, knowing the same
Grace is His in all our lives... and see His eyes sparkle, as Him we adore...
Knowing, through His word that we'll meet Him, on that Heavenly Shore.

He will gather us to Himself... as all our loved ones gone on before.
He will again make us welcome; He will keep our souls evermore.
He is Savior, Lord of Lords, the Messiah and King of Kings...
Worship This Savior; it is only He who true mercy brings...
