Amy Seaton's "Three Words"
© 1999-2004 Amy Seaton
In case there's anytime
That you don't think I love you,
Just take out this note
And imagine I kiss and hug you.
Imagine that I place
A gentle kiss upon your ear
A softly, sweetly, gently
Three words you will hear.
I - a pronoun subject
The least of the three.
Though you may have guessed it,
Yes, this word refers to me.
Love has so much meaning
I have no way to explain.
I have more love for you
Than Noah water after the rain.
You is most important
Of the three my daring dove,
Because without YOU then I
Would have no one to LOVE!

"Three Words" was published in a book called "The Hand of Destiny" (4/6/98) The International Library of Poetry
