Sadina Roselin's "E a s t e r"
© 2002-2004 by Sadina Roselin

A heart without compassion is a rock indeed
There can't be any fruit unless there is a tree
We are often discontented and much dissatisfied
that our wishes for happiness have not be gratified
But everyone should have asked one question
Why did God send his only son to suffer and die
that our salvation would be won?

There can't be any life unless there's a purpose
And a human being but a piece of wood unless there's a soul
Unless there is a competition everybody win
If we don't invest something, nothing comes in
We begin to accumulate hatred and anger fills our hearts
that we do not have what it takes to ease our impasse
And in our restriction of the things that we possess
We create our painful plight and cast down in distress

But God never sends the storm of golden pain
When our soul's need is a breeze from heaven
Easter is a time of meditation and a time of reflection
When the bright sight and lovely sound revealed
god of earth and heaven

But before this resurrection there were hours of pain
and agony For there can be no pleasure at all
without a cross to bear And there is no salvation
without faith and meditation Let us give thanks to God
for everything including for our salvation.
