Sadina Roselin's "Hand to Children"
© 2004 Sadina Roselin
If you want to see a blessing
Take with pride those children hands
If you can't vanish their tears
Keep for them a playground on the land

Do not deny them safe
Nor leave them languish in distress
In every steps they look for a pretty face
A pretty face is the only thing they know not a player

See how the world counts their number
And by one to three they become outnumber
More you give them a hand today
More springing the light from the unseen ray

And to whatever the end do I complain
My words and my syllables should not be vain
To say this I can't find a better way
But with our patiences and care little girls growing
up proud and gay

A player is good indeed
But children need a hand
If you can't vanish their tears
Keep for them a playground on the land
Where their feet prints can go on free.
