IDEAS FOR AUTUMN ROMANCING:

*Who can fail to be impressed by a romantic walk in the park during Autumn?!! The trees turn golden and burnt orange, their crisp leaves litter the paths, the sun shines through the trees, but its chilly enough to need a warm arm around you, *sigh*! Maybe even take a little picnic with you, some cake and a hot Thermos of tea or hot chocolate should really get the heat going ;)!
Why not go for a weekend away somewhere if you really feel like spoiling them... take a drive out to see some beautiful scenery, or visit a lake or castle...
*If you are in a LDR, why not collect a few big leaves off of your lawn/from your local park, dry them out and send them to your loved one, a little taster from your home should really warm their heart:) You could even glue/stick the leaves on the front of some card and make a personalised greeting with them, or collect twigs, pebbles, leaves, pinecones etc, and place them into a little jar, maybe even add a little pot pourri oil, and send it to them.

* Take pictures of your garden/house/local area in Autumn and send it for their collection of pictures of where you live.... the same place looks so very different from season to season, so it will be nice for them to know exactly what it looks like right now as they dream of being there with you!
Halloween is celebrated all over the world, in vary many ways... It could be the night for romantic tricks and treats, potions and spells, wickedness and bewitching ;)!

You can either host a party for your friends and your partners friends, and play a whole host of traditional games and pranks...or you two could host your own party, with a twist ;)!
Why not light up the room with candles, dress up in red and black, and play some games;
*Try apple bobbing kisses!Cut up the fruit into little pieces, float them in a bowl of water and  pick up the fruit using your mouth, with your hands kept behind your back, then once you have it between your teeth, lean over and share the fruit with your partner (no hands allowed!!)
*Curl up and watch a scary movie together.
*Each make pumpkin faces that look like your loved one, hehe, a surefire why to a giggle or three:)
*Have a special gothic-romantic Halloween meal, Addams Family stylee,  hehe! (why not even try eating the nibbles to one another blindfolded!!)

Bonfire Night -5th November
For all of you who have friends/loved ones in Britain, Bonfire Night or Guy Fawkes Night is a holiday celebrated by us Brits!

"Remember, Remember the Fifth of November,
Gunpowder, Treason, and Plot!"

For a detailed look at what the hell Bonfire Night is all about check out these links:):
GuyFawkes.com
Bonfire.org

But for those of you who want a little nutshell description basically Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the houses of parliament and kill the king back in 1605, but his plot was foiled and he was imprisoned, tortured and executed for his treason. Us grisly Brits celebrate the fact he was unsucessful at overthrowing the parliament and king by burning a Guy effigy on a bonfire and lighting fireworks to symbolise the gunpowder plot :) Nice :) hehe
But really the celebrations now are really just for the party and fireworks!

People have firework displays and bonfires at home but also many local community groups hold charity bonfires, were they charge a small fee to watch the bonfire and fireworks display for charity, and they put on "traditional" Bonfire foods such as toasted marshmallows, mushy peas and mint sauce, and hotdogs, aswell as special
Bonfire Toffee! (click the link and try your hand at making your own!)
