How do I upload my family history records to online databases?

1. Decide which names you want to place on the internet?

(Note: You should get permission from those individuals in your database who are still living to     include their names in the uploaded database.)

2. Create a GEDCOM file – each genealogy program has the capability to create a GEDCOM file

3. Select the databases you want to upload your records to?

    LDS/Family Search Data Bases:

      ? Pedigree Resource File
(http://www.familysearch.org - click on “Share”)
      ? International Genealogical Index (IGI) – names submitted for LDS temple
          ordinances – use Temple Ready at FHC
