| Mrs. Ruth H. Rhodes, 80, of Sycamore, died yesterday, August 29, 1980, at Pine Acres Retirement Center in DeKalb. She was born Feb 18, 1900 in McHenry County, Ill., the daughter of Peder and Netta (Johnson) Benson. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Alice Williams of DeKalb and one sister, Marie Turnborough of St. Louis, Miss., also three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray and one infant son. She was a member of the Ladies of the Viking. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Van Natta Funeral Home in Sycamore, with Pastor William E. Kmet officiating. Burial will follow in McHenry County Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. |
