Nitro comes on the air with footage from Halloween Havoc. We see Scott Hall get the win for the US Title. We also see the victories of Rhino and No Laughing Matter. We then go to the announce table.
Hudson: Welcome to Nitro everyone. I am Scott Hudson along side my new old partner Mark Madden.
Madden: It is great to be back on the big show. Tonight we have a huge main event as the World and US Champions team up. It will be Rhino teaming with Scott Hall taking on the team of Goldberg and Jeff Jarrett.
Hudson: Also Lance Storm takes on 'The Star' Scott Taylor. Ray Traylor defends his Hardcore title again Tank Abbott and William Regal faces Curt Hennig.
Madden: Don't forget about No Laughing Matter taking on the team of Chris Candido and Shane Douglas. But lets get to the ring for our first match, Ray Traylor facing Tank Abbott.
Ray Traylor got the win but it wasn't without some pain. Abbott tried to use his UFC background. He missed the big right however and turned right into the Traylor Park Trash for the win.

After the match we see Chris Kanyon arrive at the arena. He is wearing all black.
Madden: We have just seen Chris Kanyon arrive. He returned from a neck injury just last night.
Hudson: However his return was a strange one. He attacked Booker T costing his team the win last night.
Madden: What was even stranger was the stuff in the boiler room with Tammy. It was down right frightening.
Hudson: Speaking of Tammy she is in the back right now with Lance Storm.
We go to the back and see Tammy. She has her hair down and wearing a black dress with a black rose on it.
Tammy: Thanks Scott. Lance, tonight you face off with Scotty Taylor.
Storm: Tammy, tonight I return to my winning ways. Last night I am up short against William Regal but it won't happen again. Tonight 'The Star' learns that I was born to wrestle and bred to win.
Taylor came up just short again Storm. Taylor did everything he could to get the win. He tried to lock in the 'Falling Star' aka Storms Maple Leaf but Storm countered with a kick off into the corner. He then hit a German Suplex for the win.

Madden: The answer to that question is maybe. Storm is second only to William Regal right now. Regal is on a roll like I have never seen.
Hudson: Well up next Curt Hennig, the leader of the Minnesota Mafia will try to stop that roll and capture the TV Title.
William Regal was able to pick up yet another win over Curt Hennig. During the match the camera picked up on Kanyon walking around the catwalks. Hennig hit a running neck snap and went for the Hennig Plex but Regal countered with a series of punches to the guts. Regal then quickly hit the Cobra Neckbreaker for the win.

Shane Douglas, Chris Candido, Rhino, Spike Dudley, Dudley Boys, Balls Mahoney, Tony Mamaluke, Jaime Knoble, Johnny the Bull, Scott Hall, Owen Hart, Tammy and C.W. Anderson all come to the ring.
Cyrus: Look at this group of talent. We have the World and US Champions here. However a few of you haven't been living up to expectations. Isn't that right Owen?
Hart: Just what are you saying Don? You saying I am not good enough to be in ECW?
Cyrus: No---what I am saying is that YOUR FIRED!! GET HIM BOYS!
From behind Hall hits Hart with the US Title. He picks him up for Rhino to Gore him. The Dudley's then hit 3D before dumping him to the floor.
Cyrus: With that out of the way lets get down to some serious business and that is WCW. We have allowed WCW to live on Life Support long enough. Tonight we restart our drive to rid the wrestling world of the cancer known as WCW. Chris, Shane, don't fail tonight in the attempt to bring the Tag Titles back. You both have been given enough chances to be successful. I would hate for you to end up like Owen. WCW begin to count the days because they are numbered.
Madden: When we come back it will be No Laughing Matter taking on Chris and Shane.
No Laughing Matter picked up a win over ECW's team. This win however was tainted by Steiner's use of his lead pipe. As Douglas and DeMott fought on the floor Steiner took the pipe and knocked Candido out with it. He then locked in the Steiner Recliner for the win. After the match Steiner went to hit Candido again but was stopped by DeMott. Douglas quickly pulled Candido to the floor. In the ring DeMott and Steiner went face to face.

Hudson: Bill wasn't happy about the way they won the titles last night and he isn't happy the way they retained them tonight.
Madden: When we come back it will be Disqo and Big Vito taking on the Young Blood.
Disqo and Vito got a win over ECW's Young Blood in another WCW verse ECW battle. Vito got the win over his former partner after hitting JTB with his stickball bat.

Lash, Rey and Juvi got a big win over ECW's Dudley's and C.W. This match had at least four people in the ring at all times. Several times pins seemed sure only to be broken up. Juvi took 3D only for Rey to break it up with a flying legdrop. Buh Buh then took both himself and Rey over the top with a lariat. While D-Von watches the attack Lash hits D-Von with the Whiplash 2001 for the win.

Madden: A big win for WCW's team of Juvi, Rey and Lash.
Hudson: WCW needs to continue with that momentum into the main event. WCW needs a win over the US and World champions and Jarrett and Goldberg can do that.
Madden: The question is, can Goldberg and Jarrett work as a team?
Hudson: I think they can answer that because they are with Mike Tenay right now.
Tenay: Guys, tonight you can make a dent in the armor that ECW wears as you can take out Rhino and Scott Hall.
Jarrett: Listen here slappy, I don't give a damn about ECW. I am in this match for one reason, Scott Hall.
Goldberg: Hold it right their Jarrett. I need to know that your head is in this match.
Jarrett: Don't you get in my face you bald slapnut.
Tenay: Please guys you need to stay focused on Rhino and Hall.
Jarrett: Let me put it this way Bill, tonight you will find out why they call me the Chosen One.
Tenay: When we come back it will be Sting and Lex Luger against Rick Rude and Scott Norton of the Minnesota Mafia.
Norton and Rude picked up a big win. During the match Sting missed a Stinger Splash and knocked Luger off the apron. Luger hurt his ankle but still tagged in. However the damage was done and Norton was able to hit the Powerbomb for the win

A beaten and battered Owen Hart came out for his match with Booker T. Booker was in control throughout the match after the attack by ECW earlier in the night. However Owen got the win after the demented Kanyon interfered. The official was checking on Owen when Kanyon came from under the ring and gave Booker the Flatliner. Owen then locked in the Sharpshooter for the win.

After the break Ken Shamrock came to the ring for his match with Kanyon. Shamrock awaited Kanyon but he lowered from the rafters instead. Kanyon attacked Shamrock to start the match. This match was back and forth action. Shamrock hit his belly to belly and went for the Ankle Lock but Kanyon countered with a kick to the face. Moments later he hit the Flatliner for the upset win. After the match the lights went out. When they came back up just seconds later Kanyon was gone.

In the main event ECW picked up a win when Goldberg missed a spear on Hall and hit Jarrett. This set up the Rhino Recliner and the win for ECW.
