Angle: Your hold? I am not sure what you are talking about. Shamrock---Shamrock---name doesn't ring a bell.
Shamrock: Well I held that belt before you even thought of being a pro. I was making people tap out in the UFC before you were in the Olympics.
Angle: So you are saying your tough then I am huh? I am an all American Hero and you are running me down.
Shamrock: Why don't you shut up and we can settle this in the ring.
Angle: Ok---yeah---you got it.

We then go to the announce table.
JR: Welcome to Nitro everyone. Tonight we have some great action.
Hudson: Including Ken Shamrock verse Kurt Angle. Six other titles on the line including Michael Modest challenging William Regal for the WCW World Title.
JR: Let's get to the ring where the XPW Tag Team Champions are facing Al Snow and Mick Foley.
Foley and Snow came up short against Albert and Steiner. During the match Kronik came out and tried to interfere but ended up costing Foley the title. Adams tried to hit Albert with a chair but hit Foley instead. Moments later they Steiner and Albert hit Wrecking Ball for the win.

Kanyon picked up a big win over Shawn Michaels thanks to interference from lil' Spike Dudley. Shawn was in control until Spike came out and distracted Shawn. Shawn turned around right into Flatliner and the win for Kanyon.

Tazz was made short work of by Ray Traylor. Traylor was a house of fire and hit the Traylor Park Trash in less then 30 seconds for the win. After the match Traylor was yelling at JR when Steve Austin appeared. Austin had a nightstick in his hand and hit Traylor from behind. Tazz then locked in the Tazmission. Traylor was choked out and Tazz and Austin left Traylor a heap in the ring.

JR: Traylor would have done that Austin given the chance Scott. Both men are vicious. Right now lets go to Mike Tenay who is with Shawn Michaels.
Tenay: Shawn, it seems like you have some troubles with the Dudley Boys.
Shawn: Do they know who they are messing with? I am the showstopper, the icon, the main event. If those freaks want a match they got it. At Starrcade I am challenging those losers to a six man elimination match. Buh Buh, D-Von and Spike against myself, Triple H and none other then Y2J himself, Chris Jericho.
Tenay: There you have it folks another match signed for Starrcade.
Suddenly out of no where Mike Tenay is hit from behind by Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin gives Tenay the Stunner and walks off.
Hudson: What in the hell was that?
JR: If you think the WWF has anything to do with that you are wrong. No on controls Austin let me make that clear.
Hudson: Well WCW just may find a way. Up next it will be Jericho verse Disqo for the TV title.
Disqo got a big win with help from the Dudley's. During the match Buh Buh and D-Von came to ringside. Jericho was in charge of DI and using the usual cocky moves like the foot on the chest pin. Jericho hit the Lionsault but Buh Buh pulled him from the ring. On the floor Jericho was able to fight off the Dudley's. However as he entered the ring DI hit the Last Dance for the win.

JR: It is actions like that that will keep the WWF on the war path. Well up next it will be more WWF verse WCW action as Goldberg takes on Mike Awesome.
Awesome picked up a huge win over Goldberg as there was more warfare by the two factions. Goldberg and Awesome were having a back and forth match when Bret Hart ran out and hit Goldberg with a chair setting up an Awesome Splash for the win. After the match Bret Hart took the mic.

JR: It sure is. The three biggest companies of all time joining together and some great matches. This will be great.
In the next match Jindrak and O'Haire picked up a big win over the Dudley's thanks to Michaels and HHH. During the match Shawn and Hunter came to ringside. In the ring Jindrak took 3D but as the Dudley's seemed set to get the win Hunter got on the apron. Shawn entered the ring and gave both Dudley's Sweet Chin Music. Moments later Sean hot the Seanton Bomb for the win. After the match Shawn and Hunter spray painted DX on the back of the Dudley's before leaving the ring.

Scott Steiner was on the warpath again as he destroyed Devon Storm with his usual ways. However Storm did get some licks in. Storm was about to hit his Brainbuster when Tylene tossed Steiner his trusty Steel Pipe. Steiner hit Devon in the back and fell on top for the win. After the match Steiner continued the assault until fellow XPW stars The Great Muta, Tajiri and Masato Tanaka made the save.

In a good match Kid Kash came close to pulling off an upset against Booker T. Kash did hit the Money Maker but Booker somehow kicked out. Booker came back with a spinebuster and a missile dropkick. Kash came back and went for a flying double axe handle only to have Booker counter into Book End for the win.

Psicosis was able to retain his TV title against the Stinger with help from fellow XPW star Masato Tanaka. During the match Sting seemed ready to win. He charged in for the Stinger Splash but ran into a Roaring Elbow from Tanaka instead. Psicosis quickly hit the Flying Legdrop for the win.

In a rematch from last week the Misfit Animals once again defeated Swinger and Diamond. This time Lash hit the Whiplash 2001 while Rey hit Swinger with a Top Rope Frankensteiner for the win.

William Regal was able to retain his World Title in a hard fought battle against really two men. Raven came out at the beginning of the match and interfered throughout the match. Modest had Regal ready for the Natural Driver but Regal fought out and hit the Cobra Neckbreaker for the win. Regal got to his feet only to be attacked by Raven and planted by the Raven Effect.

In a match of the year possibility these two tore into each other. Shamrock took advantage early on with a series of armdrags and leg takedowns. Both men locked in their Ankle Locks at one point. The end came when Angle went for the Olympic Slam but Shamrock fought out and shoved Kurt into the official. Shamrock quickly locked in the Ankle Lock and Kurt began tapping 'like a drunk man' as JR would say. Tazz ran from the back and locked Shamrock into the Tazmission. This allowed Angle to hit a moonsault and get the win.
