Nitro comes on the air and we go straight to the announce table.

Hudson:  Welcome to a special Christmas Eve Nitro everyone.

JR:  We have some great matches planned.  In our main event former WCW Tag Team Champions the New Foundation takes on the Eliminators.  Also RVD takes on Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit takes on Dean Malenko both in non title matches.

Hudson:  Plus Disqo defends his title against Crash and Psicosis takes on Rey Misterio for his title.  Plus more non title where Kronik takes on the Gangstas in hardcore non title action.   Right now let's go to the back where I understand Disqo is with Michael Cole.

Cole:  Disqo, you have been on quite a roll lately including getting under Mr. McMahon's skin.

Disqo:  Well personally I think Vince is nothing but a piece of human waste.  Years ago he wanted me to come in and be the Honky Tonk Man's big star.  Well after hearing the plans I knew that wouldn't go anywhere so I went back to WCW.  All I hear about is Vince's genius.  Well personally I think Vince is just a good faker because he just steals other peoples----

Steve Austin grabs Michael Cole from behind and throws him out the way.

Austin:  Are you bad mouthing the good name of Mr. McMahon?

Disqo:  Listen I am not going to back down from you.  Everyone else might be afraid of you but I am not.

Austin:  Well you are more of a man then I thought.  I was going to kick your sorry ass but I decided against it.  Never mind I think I will.

Austin swings at Disqo who ducks and starts punching away on Austin.  Disqo goes for a haymaker but Austin ducks and gives him the Stunner.

Austin:  You stupid piece of trash.  You think you can stand up to Stone Cold?

Suddenly from behind Ray Traylor hits Austin from behind with his nightstick.  Traylor starts laying a beating in on him until head of security Paul Oatman pulls him off.  Austin is a bloody mess with the trainer Michael Martin checking on him.

JR:  My God did you see that?

Hudson:  Looks like someone might have finally ended the rednecks rampage.

JR:  Don't bet on it Scott.  Let's get to the ring where New Jack and Mustafa are taking on Kronik.

This match was all over the place.  The end came after a famous New Jack Balcony dive.  New Jack and Mustafa placed both Kronik members on a table and set them up for the balcony dive.  Mustafa then actually backdropped New Jack but Kronik moved New Jack when through the tables.  Moments later New Jack got hit with High Times and the match was over.

No-Countout-No-DQ-Non-Title-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match:
Kronik defeated The Gangstas when Clark pinned New Jack after the High Times in

In the back we see Austin being loaded into an ambulance.

Trainer Martin:  Listen Mr. Austin they are going to take you to the hospital to stitch you up.

Austin:  You think I am some kind of moron?  Of course I know where they are going to take me you dumb son of a bitch.

Suddenly from the front of the ambulance Ray Traylor attacks Austin.  Traylor kicks the gurney out of the ambulance and starts punching the hell out of Austin.

Traylor:  You messed with the wrong man this time boy.  You are going to find out what Hard Time is all about in six days.

Traylor takes the gurney and shoves him out of the arena and slams the door.

JR:  I hope Ray knows what he is getting into.

Hudson:  We will find out in six days for certain.  Starrcade is really shaping I up and I have another match to announce.  A Hardcore Battle Royal for the New GWF Hardcore title.  Anyone is allowed to enter so it could be a big event.

JR:  Speaking of big two of the biggest are in the ring as Mike Awesome is taking on Mike Awesome.

This was a power match with both men exchanging lariats and slams.  Awesome took over when Nash missed a big boot and crotched himself.  We see on the ramp that Scott Hall is watching the match.  Awesome hits a running Awesome Bomb which was an amazing feat that got the fans on their feet.  Awesome went to the top for the Awesome Splash but somehow Nash moved.  Nash got to his feet and hit the Jackknife Power Bomb for the win.  Nash then pointed to Hall with Hall mocking Nash.

Kevin Nash pinned Mike Awesome with the Jackknife Power Bomb in 0:08:49.

We go to the back where we see Tammy with Hardcore Holly.

Tammy:  Hardcore, in a few moments your cousin and former partner Crash will challenge Disqo for the WCW TV Title, do you think he can take the belt?

Hardcore:  Do I look like I care about that Elroy Jetson look-alike Crash?  I am the Big Shot around here.  I am the most Hardcore man on this damn roster.

Sandman:  Are you joking boy?  You are hardcore?  You are nothing but a race car driving nobody!

Hardcore:  You talking to me?  If you are talking to me we can settle this real easy.  You can show up in that ring tonight and I will kick your ass.

Sandman:  You got it.

Tammy:  Looks like we have another match signed for here tonight.  After the break it will be Disqo verse Crash for he WCW TV Title.

Disqo made short work of Crash ending it with the Last Dance.  Nothing important to announce in this match.

Disqo pinned Crash with the Last Dance in 0:03:06.

In the match for the XPW TV Title these two men tore into each other.  They knew each other so well that Rey used a different game plan and actually kept this match on the ground.  Misterio however went to the top for a flying Frankensteiner but Psicosis countered into a powerbomb.  Moments later Psicosis got the win with a Flying Legdrop.

Psicosis pinned Rey Misterio Jr. with the Flying Legdrop in 0:07:54.

In six man tag match that was really a brawl.  The Hardy's and Lyger took on Tanaka, Tajiri and Muta.  This match was short as Muta took the Twist of Fate out of nowhere for the win.  After the match Sting, Lex Luger, Scott Steiner, The New Foundation and Tony Mamaluke hit the ring.  The six men in the ring couldn't get on the offense early enough and they were destroyed.

Team WWF (Jeff Hardy, Jyushin Lyger and Matt Hardy) defeated Team XPW (Masato Tanaka, Tajiri and The Great Muta) when M. Hardy pinned Muta with the Twist of Fate in 0:01:35.

JR:  WCW seems to be on the offense here tonight but they are possibly making the WWF and XPW allies.

Hudson:  That is possible but we at WCW are sick and tired of being the underdogs around here.  We are the best damn wrestling company in the world and we will prove that in six days.

JR:  When we come back it will be a hardcore match between Hardcore Holly and The Sandman.

Hardcore Holly picked up a huge win going into Starrcade.  The Sandman started by doing his usual entrance but Hardcore stopped that.  He then dominated Sandman.  Sandman did get the White Russian Legsweep in but Hardcore kicked out.  Sandman went for a suplex but Hardcore reversed into a vertical Facebuster for the win.

Malenko picked up one of the biggest wins of his career as he defeated Chris Benoit.  This was a great match with ground work and some aerial skills.  Near the end of the match Benoit charged toward Malenko in the corner only to have Malenko pull the ref into the path.  With the ref down Raven hit the ring and attacked Benoit giving him the Raven Effect.  Malenko locked in the Cloverleaf while the official came to and called for the bell.

Non-Title-Match:
Rob Van Dam pinned Kurt Angle with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:10:09.

In the main event the New Foundation picked up another win.  This match was a brawl really with little tagging and a lot of brawling.  Lance Storm and Owen Hart hit a double superkick and got a near fall.  Storm however was hit with Total Elimination.  Owen however hit a missile dropkick and knocked Kronus to the floor.  Saturn went for a spin kick but Owen caught him and locked in the Sharpshooter for the win.

After the match from the crowd came the raging redneck.  Austin was a house of fire and gave all four men the Stunner.  We go off the air with Austin standing over all four men.
