The Music Page of Dennis Montgomery
I've decided to put up a page with MP3 downloads of my music and information about some of the musicians and composers who've inspired me.
I've been a composer since writing my first song in 1978.  At that time I was playing bass in a local progressive rock band called Elfhouse.  I played in bands another couple years then got a recording reel-to-reel and started working alone writing & recording my own compositions.  As time has passed, I've changed the names of my "bands" based on my changing styles and writing interests.  I've released CD's of my past recordings as 'General Cosmo' (1981-84), Plateau Madd (1985-86), and A Blatant Disgrace (1987).  My current entities are Mutiny in Jonestown (1987 - current) and Morpheus (1998 - current).  Mutiny in Jonestown releases are for my Progressive Rock & Hardcore Punk songs...basically anything in a "rock" format with drums and usually vocals.  Morpheus releases are for my classical baroque organ, harpsichord, 12-tone serial, synthesizer/electronic, & gothic atmosphere songs.  Rarely are vocals or drum/percussion sections present.
