Who did that?” screamed Duo; taking a step back from the spot he could’ve been annihilated. “Scared Maxwell?” Wufei said coolly, passing Duo. “I wasn’t scared! I was just surprised! that’s all,” Duo replied, regaining his steady breathing. “Are you okay Duo?” Quatre asked. “I’m okay, but who fired that cannon?” “I did. You should keep training or else you’ll die fast in battle,” Heero said, keeping his eyes focused on the now melted wall mixed with glass, steam rising from it as it slowly cools down. “…or else you’ll die fast in battle he says,” Duo said sarcastically. All the five pilots moved their gundams through the ‘entrance’ and lined it up side-by-side against the left side of the museum, covering the portraits of famous scientists. “Check this out!” cried Duo to the other pilots. He stood in front of glass cases each containing what looked like replicas of miniature gundams. “This is amazing…” Quatre said in awe. He grabbed an old jacket from on top of a counter with all types of weapons and equipment in its dusty glass. He used the jacket to wipe off the dust of all the glass cases in the ‘Robot Gallery’, which was imprinted onto a gold plaque above a blonde female robot, a gray and red robot, with its shades masking the rest of his face and a black robot with a cobra looking helmet and a blue smooth and round jewel on its chest. “Roll: A female robot one of Dr. Light’s ‘children’ and was one of his assistants. She is the sister to both Megaman and Protoman. A very kind and cheerful girl with a very much human like personality,” Duo read from the marble green podium with a gray plaque and words in white. “She looks like a human,” Duo said out loud. “If she was, her body would’ve been decapitating by now,” Wufei said. “Don’t you think I know that already?” Duo growled. “No I didn’t,” Wufei said sarcastically. “Hmpf!” Duo faced his back at him. “She looks like one of those Barbies still in its box,” Quatre said, touching the glass case. “I like this black robot, he reminds me of my Deathscyte,” said Duo approvingly. “Don’t tell me, ‘The Great Destroyer’,” Wufei said rolling his eyes, leaning against the dull white pillar. “Bass: One of Dr. Wiley’s creations, and the last. He is one of Megaman’s enemies and is a fierce warrior. He caused a huge amount of destruction and chaos ever known. Truly selfish, brutal and evil, he was later destroyed by Megaman. These are his remains rebuilt,” Duo read the silver plaque with the words in white, screwed into the marble green podium. Duo rubbed his neck. “I just don’t get this. What exactly are these things? Are they action figures?” “I’m not sure. From what I’ve read, it seems as though this ‘Megaman’ guy was a hero in this town and fought other bad robots.” Quatre stared at the robot in red and gray armor with a yellow scarf wrapped around his neck. He walked towards the podium in front of it and read it. ”Protoman: He is Dr. Light’s and Dr. Wily’s first creation. He worked for a little while as their assistant but soon after disappears and is later to be found working for Dr. Wily. Older ‘brother’ to both Megaman and Roll, he prefers to do things in his own mysterious ways. He appears to Megaman in tough situations and helps him so we are still unsure what side he is on. Although he later joins Megaman, Roll and Dr. Light, some can only speculate it as another charade.” To be...oh who gives a D###, get to the next page!!! |
