Charles E. Clifford married Plutheria Clifford, (yes, that is her maiden name) in 1851 in Toronto Canada. Last known record for Charles is a marriage record dated December 24, 1866, in Mitchell County, Iowa, to Olive Montgomery. Plutheria (Phebe) is found in the 1870 census of Floyd County, Iowa. Charles has not been found on the 1870 census.

Richard Lashbrook was born in Devon England, married same, 10 of his children born same, came to the Americas around 1830, reportedly first to Quebec, then to Clinton County, New York. Moved to McHenry County, Illinois sometime mid 1840's where he lived until his death.

Laura "Jane" Oakley's connection to Abraham Oakley and Susan Titrington has not been proven fully. There is much circumstantial evidence, but a document tying them together beyond any doubt has yet to be found. Proof is needed, can you help?

These families lived in England, New York, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota.

Currently this work is over 500 pages, plus photos and documents. It will be indexed. Submissions by other family members are being sought and encouraged. Looking for photos, or family stories you would like to share.

NOTE: Al and I finally made our month long research trip to Iowa and Minnesota during the summer of 2005. I am working on finishing this project, if you have photos or other information to share now is the time!

December 2007: Still working on this, not even I can believe it, However, I have come up with some alternative methods for distribution of this work, as I have said before - Stay Tuned.
