Recommended MSN Sites

We at Genpals believe that bringing your family history research into the 21st century does not mean frequenting one or two sites or chat rooms. The good researcher should visit a range of sites which can offer various advantages. We encourage our members and friends to visit numerous sites and chat rooms in order to get the best rewards out of modern technological research methods. Therefore we have provided a listing of recommended “Sister Sites” on MSN which we feel have diverse advantages to the researcher. We encourage you to visit these sites.

A Genealogy Experience – Probably the oldest genealogy site on MSN, A Genealogy Experience offers an extensive surname posting forum, an active chat room, daily e-mails featuring research tips and a social sidebar.

Family Genealogy and Research – This site concentrates on the friendships made while doing family history research, as well as providing look-ups and research help. This site also addresses current women’s issues in a casual and friendly atmosphere.

GenHaven – This site maintains a dynamic chat room on the MSN network for the benefit of WebTV users and MSN Subscribers who do not wish to join an MSN Community Group. GenHaven also offers surname posting boards, links and Canadian, US and UK assistance.

Genpals2003 – Established by several Genpals Members as a compliment to our main site, Genpals2003 offers multilingual chat for Western European researchers in Dutch, English, French and German. This site also offers links to digital sites for the Western European researcher.

TMTK Family Finders – This UK based site mainly offers assistance in UK and Australian research as well as boasting surname posting boards, helpful links and a chat room.
