::My//Special//Message::

Before I begin, let me just say that I am in no way a Mandy Willaford supporter.  However, let it also be known that I am in no way a Mandy Willaford hater.

I understand that many teenaged Backstreet Boys fans may believe that they own a certain member of the group, in particular Nick Carter.  It is this belief that has sparked much hatred of Mandy Willaford, a girlfriend/ex-girlfriend of Nick.

A question to all the Mandy Willaford haters out there: why do you all hate her so much?  What has she ever done to you?
:: Oh, my God, she's dating Nick Carter.  Big deal!!  Like that has any effect on hers or Nick's vocal qualities. 
::"Well, I heard that..."  Yes, we all know what we heard about Mandy - that she's abusive, that she's a bitch, that she hit one of Nick's friends, Brent.  Yes, that's what you heard but we all know how the rumor mill operates.  Half of what you heard probably isn't true, and the other half is none of your business -- it's between Nick and Mandy and no one else.
::You think she looks like a skanky ho.  That's her decision then -- no one's forcing you to look at her.
::You think her singing sucks.  I hate to break it to y'all, but unless you've been to a Backstreet Boys concert, then chances are you haven't heard her voice.  No one's forcing you to listen though -- you have legs, you can get up and turn off the TV/radio by yourself!

Either way, what the haters are doing to her ::and to her website:: is disgusting.  Out of curiousity, I went and had a look at her website, and yet again, it's been hacked.  The "fan site" is now known as www.im-a-loser.com and the mailing address is www.im-using-nick.com.  One question -- why? 

It strikes me as kind of funny how the fans complain about Nick never telling them anything about his love life -- after this kind of treatment that both he and his girlfriend have suffered, can you really still complain?


Well that's my little jump up onto the soapbox...I believe that we should respect all girlfriends, past present and future -- no matter what you hear.
