I seperated from my girlfriend in 2007 and I share custody of our son who is currently 14. He'll be 15 in November. He has rekindled a spark in me that died out a few years before he was born. It's amazing what the love of an innocent kid can do for you.
Unfortunately I was born and raised in Quebec. With the constant threat of separation it isn't worth living here, but it's hard to get out of the province. Very expensive.
I have two brothers and one sister. They all managed to escape Quebec. One is in British Columbia, and two in Ontario. My mother is still in Quebec also. My father died of cancer Aug 12, 2002.
I started playing Advanced Dungeons and Dragons (AD&D) in 1981. Not having a job at that time my friends and I played almost every day. The stories I could tell you are incredible. Eventually all the players got girlfriends, jobs, a life and the games became more and more rare.
Finally we didn't play together for years and my brother came up with the idea of having an annual game. We did and the Gatherings were created. I find the first one, The Gathering to be the best.
